The 7-day happiness guarantee

If you’re not delighted with your star, tell us within 7 days of purchaseand we’ll refund you in full — no forms, no interrogation. Email hello@lumorastars.com from the address you used at checkout.

One honest note: when we refund, the star name is released back into the catalog and the certificate, star page, and gift links stop working. A refunded star isn’t yours anymore — fair’s fair.

We will always refund, any time

  • A technical error on our side prevented delivery of your certificate or star page.
  • You were charged twice for the same order.

What we can’t refund

  • Requests after the 7-day window (the star is long since yours).
  • Physical add-ons once shipped (frames, gift boxes).
  • Expecting IAU official recognition — we say clearly, everywhere, that star naming is symbolic. That’s true of every star registry; we’re just the ones who tell you.

Payment disputes

If you initiate a chargeback without contacting us first, we reserve the right to dispute it and provide transaction evidence to your bank. We’d much rather just talk — email hello@lumorastars.com.
